Assessment
When pages are created through Articles for creation they should be assessed according to the quality scale. This is achieved by passing a parameter to the {{WPAFC}} template which is placed on the talk page of articles (full instructions can be found on the template's documentation). Similarly, the talk pages of files uploaded through Files for upload should also be tagged with {{WPAFC}}. Articles are then placed in the appropriate subcategory of Category:AfC articles by quality. The number of articles we currently have of each class are:
- 2.4% List-Class
- 21.9% Stub-Class
- 54.7% Start-Class
- 17.7% C-Class
- 3% B-Class
- 0.3% GA-Class
- 0% FA-Class
- 0% remaining

Note: Some WikiProjects omit standard classes, most often A-Class, especially when they lack an assessment team.
