The workshop should bring three groups into contact with each other

• Experts/ researchers/ users interested in such a data base,
• those who could do the programming,
• Wikimedia-/Wikipedia-experts with experience in joint ventures with public institutions.

Questions

• What should the data base be able to offer?
• What would the user interface look like?
• What are the technical problems to be considered?
• What organisational problems will we face?
• Who would be partners (think of Google Books or the Bodleian Library’s and University of Oxford’s “Cultures of Knowledge]” project).
