The 2 Line, also known as the East Link Extension, is a light rail line serving the Eastside region of the Seattle metropolitan area in the U.S. state of Washington. It is part of Sound Transit's Link light rail system and runs for 53 miles (85 km), connecting the cities of Bellevue and Redmond. The line has 25 stations. Its first section opened between South Bellevue station and Downtown Redmond station on April 27, 2024. The full line with service to Downtown Seattle, Mercer Island, Bellevue, and Redmond, was opened on March 28, 2026 and spans 29 miles (47 km). The 2 Line continues through the Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel to connect with the 1 Line via Stadium station to the northern terminus of both the 1 Line and 2 Line at Lynnwood City Center station.
