Aflac (also known as Aflac Incorporated) is an American insurance company headquartered in Columbus, Georgia.
Aflac’s mascot is a domestic duck known as the Aflac Duck. Comedian Gilbert Gottfried voiced the Aflac Duck from his debut in 2000 until 2011, when he was fired by Aflac for joking about the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake online. Daniel McKeague, a sales manager from Hugo, Minnesota, was picked to be the new voice of the Aflac Duck in April 2011. Character actor Earl Billings has appeared in many of the commercials.
