Garnacho joined Manchester United from Atlético Madrid in October 2020. During the 2021–22 season, he made significant progress in the club's youth teams and helped Manchester United win the FA Youth Cup. He also received the Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year award in 2022.
He made his senior-team debut on 28 April 2022, appearing as a substitute in a Premier League match against Chelsea. During the 2022–23 season, he became increasingly involved in the first team and contributed to the club's successful EFL Cup campaign.
