Plot

The story is based on the Indian epic Mahabharata. It follows Prince Arjun's journey from a young boy into a legendary warrior.

A maid named Brihannala tells his story to Uttar, the young prince of Viratnagar.

She explains that Arjun learns warfare from a teacher named Drona. Arjun becomes the best fighter. His cousins, the Kauravas, grow very jealous. Their leader, Duryodhana, wants the kingdom's throne. He tries to kill Arjun's family, the Pandavas, but fails. To keep peace, the king gives the Pandavas a distant land. Later, Arjun wins a contest and marries Princess Draupadi.

Duryodhana then tricks the Pandavas in a gambling game. The Pandavas lose their kingdom, their freedom, and their wife. Draupadi is publicly insulted. She makes Arjun promise to get revenge.

As punishment, the Pandavas must go into exile for twelve years. They must also hide in secret for one final year. If they are caught hiding, they will face another twelve years of exile. During this time, Arjun prays to Lord Shiva and receives a special bow.

The story returns to the present day. The Pandavas are spending their secret year hiding in Viratnagar. Duryodhana's spies discover this. Duryodhana tricks the king of Viratnagar into leaving the city. Then, he attacks the city with a massive army.

Only young Prince Uttar is left to defend the kingdom. The maid Brihannala drives his chariot. Uttar gets scared of the huge enemy army and tries to run away. The maid stops him and reveals her true identity. She is actually Arjun in disguise.

Arjun grabs his special bow. He makes Prince Uttar drive the chariot. Arjun then single-handedly defeats the entire enemy army and saves the city.
