Plot

On June 16, 1994, Jesse and Céline meet on a Budapest, Hungary-bound train; Jesse is bound for the United States and Céline is bound for Paris, France. Jesse and Céline quickly develop an easy-going connection. The two decide to spend a spontaneous evening together in Vienna, Austria. As they wander Vienna, they share personal stories, explore philosophical and emotional topics, and experience a deepening romantic connection.

Despite the brief amount of time Jesse and Céline have spent in each other's company, and regardless of their intentions the previous day to part ways without further contact, by the following morning the two decide not to exchange contact details, and instead meet in the same spot in six months.
