Bet (letter)

Bet, Beth, or Vet is the second letter of the Hebrew alphabet. It is represented by "ב". It is pronounced as 'b' (as in 'ball') or 'v' (as in 'very').

In set theory, the letter is used to represent a series of infinite cardinal numbers (called beth numbers).

The Hebrew alphabet is often called "aleph-bet", because of its first two letters.
