The Blue Picardy Spaniel (or Épagneul Bleu de Picardie in French) is a medium size gundog of the type called Spaniels. This breed was developed in France around the start of the 20th century.
The colour of this dog is always a grey and black specked colour that looks like it is really blue.
The Blue Picardy Spaniel is usually a happy dog that is gentle with children and gets along well with other dogs. They love their work as hunters but also love to play. They need plenty of exercise.
Although this dog originated in France, it is now more popular as a hunting dog in Canada.
