Bolivar Trask is a fictional character in the Marvel Comics universe.
Bolivar Trask was created by writer Stan Lee and artist/co-writer Jack Kirby, and first appeared in The X-Men #14 (November 1965).
He is a scientist and military general known for creating the Sentinels, giant mutant-hunting robots. Trask is often depicted as an antagonist, particularly in stories involving the X-Men, due to his fear of mutants and his efforts to exterminate them using the Sentinels.
Bolivar Trask appears in the 2014 film X-Men: Days of Future Past, portrayed by Peter Dinklage.
