Cats Don't Dance is a 1997 American animated musical comedy movie, directed by Mark Dindal in his feature directorial debut. It stars Scott Bakula as Danny and Jasmine Guy as Sawyer.
The movie is about Danny, who moves away from his hometown of Kokomo, Indiana to Hollywood to achieve his dreams and meet his lifelong idol Darla Dimple. However, Hollywood turns out to be a lot more difficult than Danny had dreamed. Along the way, he meets Sawyer, whom he begins to fall in love with, and a whole group of animals who are out of a job due to humans being hired for jobs instead of them. Danny uses his pure optimism and motivational speeches to encourage the animals to achieve their dreams, regardless of what the humans have said or done.
