In the Cyrillic alphabet, the letters Д (De) and Ж (Zhe) are sometimes combined as Дж to represent the voiced postalveolar affricate sound, similar to the "j" in the English word "Jump" or "Judge." This digraph is commonly used in various Slavic and non slavic languages that utilize Cyrillic scripts suchas serbian, macedonian, belarussian and certain Caucasian or turkic languages to spell loanwords or native sounds that requires a distant "dzh" sound.
