Engels (Russian: Энгельс) is a city located in Saratov Oblast, Russia. It was founded in 1747. It's a port connected with Saratov over Volga River with a bridge.
It was previously known as Pokrovskaya sloboda (until 1916), Pokrovsk (until 1931-1933).
