The Antioquia marsupial frog (Gastrotheca bufona) is a frog. It lives in Colombia.

Home

This frog lives high in the trees in forest that has never been cut down. Scientists have seen the frog between 1,700 and 2,200 m (5,600 and 7,200 ft) above sea level.

Young

The female frog carries her eggs in a bag of skin on her back. The young come out as small frogs, not tadpoles.

Danger

Scientists from the IUCN say the frog is in some danger of dying out. People change the places where the frog lives to make farms and places for animals and to get wood to use.
