Home

Scientists have only seen this frog in the Serra da Jibóia mountains, 850 m (2,790 ft) above sea level.

Scientists found this frog near a protected place: Reserva Particular do Patrimônio Natura Guarirú.

Danger

Scientists from the IUCN say they do not know if the frog is in danger of dying out. The mountains where the frog lives have a large rainforest on them. Lower down, human beings have made farms that cut the forest into pieces.
