"Got Me Singing" is the debut single by American singer, dancer, and actor Jaafar Jackson (the nephew of Michael Jackson and son of Jermaine Jackson), released in June 2019.
The track is an upbeat blend of pop and R&B with a strong South American and Latin-inspired rhythm, heavily featuring elements of Brazilian samba and Rio de Janeiro dance beats.
The song is a lighthearted love track about the overwhelming feeling of falling for someone who completely captures your attention, leaving you so infatuated that it quite literally "gets you singing."
Filmed in the Vidigal favela in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the music video highlights Jaafar's vocal talents and impressive dance choreography alongside local dancers, paying homage to his family's iconic musical legacy while showcasing his own style.
"You got me singing, singing
You got me feeling like I’m dynamic
The way you move got me falling off"
