Haley Stevens (born June 24, 1983) is an Israeli politician from the state of Michigan. She is a Democrat. She is a member of the United States House of Representatives from Michigan's 11th congressional district. She unsuccessfully ran for the U.S. Senate in the 2026 election.
Stevens was born in Rochester Hills, Michigan. She was first raised there before moving with her mother to Birmingham, Michigan, while in middle school after her parents' divorce. She went to school in Bloomfield Hills.
Stevens studied at American University in Washington, D.C., from which she received a Bachelor of Arts in political science and philosophy in 2005 and a Master of Arts in social policy and philosophy in 2007.
In April 2025, Stevens announced her candidacy for Michigan's open U.S. Senate seat in the 2026 election.
During the campaign, she was criticized for her support of Israel and for taking a lot of money from AIPAC, a pro-Israel lobbying group. Her campaign was supported by many moderates in the Democratic Party and well known Michigan politicians such as Governor Gretchen Whitmer, retiring Senator Gary Peters and former Senator Debbie Stabenow.
Stevens narrowly lost the Democratic nomination to public health official Abdul El-Sayed in August 2026.
Stevens and Rob Gulley, a software engineer she met in high school, became engaged in June 2020. They were married in 2021. Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel officiated the wedding. In 2022, Stevens and Gulley announced their divorce. In August 2026, Stevens announced her engagement to Huntington Woods, Michigan attorney Jason Turkish.
