The Idaho State Capitol in Boise is the home of the government of the U.S. state of Idaho.
Construction of the first part of the new state capitol building began in the summer of 1905, fifteen years after Idaho became a state. The final cost of the building was just over $2 million. It was completed fifteen years later in 1920.
The now historic landmark building was included in the Boise Capitol Area District listing on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on May 12, 1976.
