Jadeja

The Jadeja (also spelled Jarejo or Jareja) (Gujarati: Jāḍejā) is a Yaduvanshi Rajput clan which is a branch of the Chandravanshi lineage and claim to descent from Sambha (son of Lord Krishna and Jambawati). Thus, Jadejas claim to be decendents of the Hindu deity Krishna.

They ruled various parts of Gujarat, Rajasthan and Uttarpradesh states of India, including major parts of present day Gujarat, notably the princely states of: Kutch, Nawanagar, Rajkot, Morvi, Gondal and Dhrol.
