KPop Demon Hunters is a 2025 American animated musical movie. It was produced by Sony Pictures Animation and released by Netflix. The movie was directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans. They also co-wrote the script with the help of Danya Jimenez and Hannah McMechan.

The movie features the voices of Arden Cho, Ken Jeong, Ahn Hyo-Seop, May Hong, Lee Byung-hun, Ji-Young Joo, Yunjin Kim, and Daniel Dae Kim. The movie is about a K-pop girl group called Huntr/x. They live a secret life as demon hunters. They face off a rivalry between a K-pop boy group called Saja Boys. The Saja Boys are later revealed to be demons.

The movie began after Kang was interested in making a movie that was related to his Korean heritage. It was based on themes like folklore, K-Pop music, and the study of demons. This made a cultural and unique movie. It received positive reviews from critics and won multiple accolades. The movie's production started in 2021.
