Khudei

Khudei or Khoodei (Old Manipuri: Khutei, Khootei) is a daily traditional Meitei loincloth wear, worn by menfolk. It is also used as a cotton towel in some cases. It is a wraparound linen cloth. This short woven cloth covers the body from the waist up to the knee portion. Generally, it measures around 3' x 8'. Sometimes, it is folded and carried on the shoulders by aged men. It is worn like in the dhoti style.
