Kiddle is a search engine made for kids. It helps children find safe and kid-friendly websites when they search for information. Kiddle looks like Google, but it only shows results that are good for children.
Kiddle faced criticism in 2016 for blocking words like "gay" and "lesbian" from searches because they "couldn't guarantee the safety of such search terms".
History
Kiddle was chosen in 2014
The .co domain stands for "children only" because the founders wanted to make a safe search engine for kids to use.
