The Bahia forest frog (Odontophrynus alipioi) is a frog. Scientists used to say it was the only frog in Macrogenioglottus, and they called it Macrogenioglottus alipioi. This frog lives in Brazil.
This frog digs in the ground. Scientists saw it in forests that were never cut down and forests that were cut down but have been growing back for a long time. They also found it on some tree farms, for example cacao farms that use shade. Scientists saw the frog between 0 and 600 meters above sea level.
Scientists saw the frog in protected places.
This frog has many young at the same time. It has young after heavy rain.
The IUCN says that this frog is not in danger of dying out. Human beings do change the places where the frog lives by changing forests to farms, tree farms, cities, and places for animals to eat grass. Scientists think that shady cacao farms are not a danger to the frog.
