Malandra Elizabeth Burrows (née Newman; born 4 November 1965) is an English actress and singer. She is best known for portraying the role of Kathy Glover in ITV soap opera Emmerdale (1985–2001, 2005).
Burrows' acting career began in the early 1980s with two minor roles in the Channel 4 soap opera Brookside.
In November 1985, Burrows began portraying Kathy Bates in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, becoming one of the programme's longest-running characters. She departed the show in December 2001. In late 2005, Burrows returned for four episodes for the funeral of long-running character, Seth Armstrong (Stan Richards).
