Mapusaurus was a type of dinosaur. It was a theropod. It was carnivorous, meaning it ate meat. The Mapusaurus was one of the largest carnivorous theropods, such as the Carcharodontosaurus, Giganotosaurus, or Tyrannosaurus Rex. It was 12-13 meters long. It lived during the late Cretaceous period.
