The Mercedes-Benz O404 is a coach and a chassis of a coach. It had a step-entrance. It was made from 1992 to 1999 by Mercedes-Benz.
As a coach, it was made in three lengths (O404-10, O404-13 and O404-15) and three heights (RH, RHD and SHD).
As a chassis, it was made with two or three axles.
In 1992, It replaced the O303.
In 1999, It was replaced by the Mercedes-Benz OC500RF and the Mercedes-Benz Travego.
To ensure that bus operators do not lose valuable time, all of the best prerequisites for maintenance and service ease are incorporated into every O 404 before it leaves the factory. All parts and lines are exactly where you would expect them to be. And that applies to all of the buses in our O 404 family, i.e. the RH, RHD and SHD.
