Pajamas

A girl (and her doll) wearing pyjamas.

Pajamas (American English) or pyjamas (United Kingdom and Commonwealth of Nations), sometimes called jammies, jim-jams, PJs, or in South Asia, night suits, are loose clothes people wear while asleep or lounging. Pyjamas usually include trousers and a shirt. Pyjamas are often made of cotton. They are usually worn without underwear. The word comes from Hindi: पजामा, Pajāmā; Persian: پايجامه.
