Scientists saw this frog in streams in a place that was very dry and had only a few plants on land. The scientists found the frogs under rocks in steams that had many plants growing in the water. The scientists saw the frog between 1800 and 4500 meters above sea level. The frog spends some of its time on land.
Scientists found tadpoles under water plants next to the stream.
Scientists from the IUCN say this frog is in big danger of dying out. Human beings take water from streams for mines, farms, and to stop roads from putting bad things into the air.
