He is known for appearing in Everybody Hates Chris, The Expendables, White Chicks, The 6th Day, Norbit, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and other movies and television series. He is a retired NFL player. Crews is from Flint, Michigan. Crews was the host of Who Wants to be a Millionaire on September 2014 until May 2015 due to his busy schedule. He was replaced by Chris Harrison in September 2015. He also had a background role in the 2001 movie Training Day with Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawk.
Terrence Alan Crews grew up in a strict Christian household in Flint. His mother raised him, because his father was an alcoholic. His great aunt gave him a flute, so Terrence took lessons for eight years. He played football at Western Michigan University (WMU) in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
I am not a 'Jr.' Terry Crews is my dad, but I have a middle name: I am Terry Alan Crews [highlights spelling "Alan", and does not dispute "Terrence"]. So that technically does not make me a 'Jr.'
