The Wayzata Library is a public library in Wayzata, Minnesota. It is a part of the Hennepin County Library system. The Wayzata Library opened in 1905.

History

The Wayzata Library opened in the city hall in 1905. The city hall burned down in 1955. This caused the library to temporarily move. In 1957, the new city hall was opened. The library was moved to the new city hall shortly after.

In 1972, the library moved out of the city hall into its current building. The building was temporarily closed in 2022 to replace the roof.

A new library building was approved in 2023. It was delayed in 2025 because it was too expensive.
