An example of a color blind test

Color blindness makes people unable to tell the difference between certain colors. In very rare cases, they may not see colors at all. Most color blindness is inherited, usually as simple Mendelian inheritance. Sometimes, however it is the result of damage to the eyes, nerves, or the brain that can be caused by coming into contact with certain chemicals. Most color blindness is permanent, but some conditions can lead to temporary color blindness.
