  It was also nominated for deletion twice on enwiki (en:Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fabio Mancini (2nd nomination)), notice how most "Keep"s are from users who made few or no other edits outside that topic. ✩ Dream Indigo ✩ 22:20, 2 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

•  Keep as the subject is notable enough and is one of Armani's long-standing models. He has been recognized as Vogue Hommes' "Best Fitness Models," Out magazine's "50 Hottest Male Models of All Time," and others. He does have reliable independent sources; please recheck, like The Daily Telegraph, Daily Mail, Vogue France, Out, Vanity Fair, and others. Maybe it needs more reliable sources, but I believe deletion is not the best way here. Wikiwordssmith (talk) 17:27, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Comment You are wrong here, Davey2010. I don't know if you know how to check or not, but the article was deleted once on EnWiki. And I would only say this in defense of this article that it might lack substantial reliable sources, but I would not use the word "many" for it. Because many of the sources are reliable. Just like Wikiwordssmith mentioned, you are not looking on the bright side here. The L'Officiel magazine source or Out magazine are not reliable? His book was recently published by Rizzoli Libri, and they have it on their official website; it looks notable enough and a reliable source to me. He has a few less reliable sources, so my recommendation would be to remove those sources or put an improvement tag on the article. --CooksAnna (talk) 12:02, 7 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It was indeed deleted only once so I've amended that, Releasing a book and being named in a trivial list as "50 Hottest Male Models of All Time" doesn't automatically mean they're notable, The English Wikipedia deemed this as non notable because of lack of INDEPTH coverage which I also agree with.

Lastly please don't make comments such as you are not looking on the bright side here as that could be deemed a personal attack and something you could be blocked for - I'm entitled to my opinion which you're more than welcome to disagree with but making those sorts of comments does you no favours and it doesn't help in this discussion, Thanks. –Davey2010^Talk 13:13, 7 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  I'LL TELL YOU THE PROBLEM; The other Wikipedias don't have any standards and or there's not enough editors to check articles whereas here and the English Wikipedia we patrol new changes/pages every day so new articles are picked up 10x quicker, Once you create an article on a non-English Wikipedia it stays without being checked or even noticed. –Davey2010^Talk 13:05, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  To be verifiable; if no reliable (he do have a lot!!!!!!) in every language - , independent sources can be found on a topic, then it should not have a separate article. Wikipedia's concept of notability applies this basic standard to avoid indiscriminate inclusion of topics. ‘’Article and list topics must be notable, or "worthy of notice.’’ Can you please explain us of this famous top model is everywhere ONLINE in GOOGLE why he cant be on wiki English? A guy Who make the history of fashion, this is literally with NO sense.   No, it's not enough for me. Sorry. @Davey2010: @Dream Indigo:, this might interest you... Funnily enough, this "550,000" images thing, was also bought up on the English Wikipedia when the article was nominated (and subsequently removed). What is so important to this, and the other IP (on the same range, I might add), that they want this article on here? Are they annoyed it was removed from the English Wikipedia? I have other ideas, but to avoid prejudicing myself, I won't add those on here. Remembering the civility guidelines, I'll stay quiet now. DaneGeld (talk) 20:36, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
