Rennie developed in the Hearts academy and spent the 2023–24 season on loan at Boroughmuir Thistle. In August 2023, she was selected in the Scottish Women's Premier League Team of the Week after saving a penalty in Boroughmuir's 1–0 defeat to Kilmarnock.
On 19 July 2024, Rennie signed her first professional contract with Hearts, initially running until the summer of 2026. She joined Dundee United on loan the following month and made her debut against Celtic on the opening weekend of the 2024–25 Scottish Women's Premier League season. In September, she made six saves in a 1–1 draw with Aberdeen and was again selected in the league's Team of the Week.
Rennie was named Dundee United Women's Players' Player of the Year at the end of the 2024–25 season. Hearts announced in June 2025 that she would leave the club that summer. She subsequently returned to Boroughmuir Thistle for the 2025–26 season.

She was selected for the Scotland under-19 squad for the second round of qualification for the 2024 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship in April 2024.
