Cavapoo
The Cavapoo (American English) or Cavoodle (Australian English) is a crossbreed of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle. The cavapoo is speculated to have been first bred by designer dog breeders in Australia in the 1950s as a companion dog with similar traits to the cockapoo, but at a smaller size.
Cavapoos can come in many colors, including white, golden, brown, and black, often with a contrasting white tuft of fur on their chests. They can even be tricolored in a similar vein to Calico cats. The Cavapoo is known for being hypoallergenic, as they are part Poodle, however this is a misconception. Studies have shown that no breed is truly hypoallergenic, but instead are simply less likely to cause a reaction. They are very energetic around humans and even cats. They are said to be a great choice for a family, and to be very intelligent and trainable.
