Chinna Lingapur (also spelled Chinnalingapur) is a village and Gram Panchayat in the Sircilla mandal of the Rajanna Sircilla district in the Indian state of Telangana. Located approximately 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) south of the district headquarters at Sircilla, the village has emerged as a transit location due to its position along the newly developed Kothapalli–Manoharabad railway network.
Chinna Lingapur is administered as a Gram Panchayat under the Panchayati Raj system. The village falls within the Sircilla Assembly constituency, represented in the Telangana Legislative Assembly, and is part of the Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency for national parliamentary representation. Local civic infrastructure projects are overseen by the district administration of Rajanna Sircilla.
The local economy is predominantly agricultural, aligning with the rural characteristics of the Sircilla mandal. In recent years, public works under the MGNREGA have seen development in local rural assets, including a dedicated compost shed, a community crematorium, and an avenue plantation nursery.
The village operates under the regional postal department hub assigned to PIN code 505405.
Chinna Lingapur is served by the Chinna Lingapur railway station (Station Code: CHLNG), which is managed under the Hyderabad division of the South Central Railway zone (SCR). The station sits on the Kothapalli–Manoharabad line, a single-track broad-gauge network.
The section tracking from Manoharabad through Siddipet was opened to traffic in late 2023, while local track works progressing toward Sircilla and Vemulawada were finalized through late 2025 and 2026. The completion of the corridor connects the area directly to the national rail infrastructure, providing critical transit for agricultural products, textiles from Sircilla, and local passenger traffic.
The village is connected by local roads to the Jillella–Ellanthakunta highway route, giving residents direct vehicular access to Sircilla and surrounding urban hubs.
