FC Didube 2014 was founded on November 18, 2014, in Tbilisi, Georgia, through the joint initiative of former professional football player Lasha Miminoshvili and Vladimir Dzneladze, a local majoritarian MP for the Didube district. Originally established as a charitable football school operating on a mini-pitch, the club’s primary goal was to provide free football training and social integration for internally displaced persons (IDPs), socially vulnerable children, and youth from various day centers.
Over the years, the project expanded from a youth academy into a fully structured sports club. Following a shift in focus by founder Lasha Miminoshvili from coaching to full-time club management, the club formed a senior team and officially entered the competitive Georgian football pyramid.
FC Didube 2014 began its journey in the Amateur League and steadily earned promotions through the Regional League. By demonstrating strong seasonal performances, the club advanced to Liga 3, the third tier of professional football in Georgia. The club maintains an active youth academy alongside its professional first team and heavily emphasizes sports discipline, professionalism, and community outreach.
