Fiat Ippo (also referred to in media reports as the Fiat Pandina E-Car) is an upcoming battery electric city car expected to be introduced by Fiat in 2028. It is being developed by Stellantis as part of the company's new E-Car programme, a family of affordable electric vehicles intended to comply with the European Union's proposed M1E category for compact urban cars.
The Panda E-Car will become Fiat's entry-level electric city car and is expected to be priced at approximately €15,000. The model is planned to be produced at Stellantis' Pomigliano d'Arco plant in Italy, alongside the current Pandina, and will serve as one of the first vehicles developed under the E-Car programme.
The project follows Stellantis' announcement of a new category of affordable electric vehicles inspired by the Japanese kei car concept. The E-Car platform is intended to reduce manufacturing costs while complying with future European regulations for small electric vehicles.
The Panda E-Car is expected to borrow styling cues from the Fiat Ippo concept car while retaining the upright proportions associated with previous Panda models. Reports also indicate that, although the vehicle is primarily planned as a battery-electric model, internal-combustion versions remain under evaluation.
