Ganesan or Ganeshan (Tamil: கணேசன், romanized: Kaṇēcaṉ) is a Tamil male given name. Due to the Tamil tradition of using patronymic surnames, it may also be a surname for males and females. The name is derived from the Hindu god Ganesh.
