Hailey Glassman is an American publicist and reality television personality. She appears as a main cast member on the sixteenth season of The Real Housewives of New York City.
Hailey Glassman was born on February 18, 1987, to parents Lawrence and Lauren. She grew up in Nyack, New York and Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. After graduating high school, Glassman went to Indiana University's Bloomington campus.
Glassman works as a public relations professional.
She currently lives in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan and Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. She has a husband, Reuben, who Glassman says they are in a lavender marriage. Glassman is queer, saying "I personally don’t place love or lust on gender. I think you can fall in love regardless of whether it’s a man or a woman, it’s about the person. Let’s focus on human-to-human connection, feeling understood, and feeling seen.".
Glassman's mother, Lauren, was friends with Jon Gosselin, of Jon & Kate Plus 8, after Glassman's father performed Kate Gosselin's tummy tuck. Lauren encouraged Hailey to go after Jon. Glassman and Gosselin started dating in 2009, when Glassman was 22 and Gosselin was 32. Media at the time believed Glassman was a homewrecker when the Gosselins were secretly separated. On December 26, 2009, Gosselin accused Glassman of cutting up Jon Gosselin's clothing and furniture, along with stealing electronics in his Upper West Side, Manhattan apartment, a week after Glassman moved out. Glassman accused Gosselin of inventing the story as a publicity stunt. Gosselin's lawyer unsuccessfully tried to have Glassman jailed.
After the sixteenth season's cast of The Real Housewives of New York City was released to the public, an influencer named Claudia Oshry came forward with screenshots that Glassman has been trolling her since 2017. Glassman's rep, Adriane Schwartz, issued an statement reading "For an influencer who had to apologize for her bullying and racist comments, even losing her podcast for racism, it's unfortunate she feels the need to attack Ms. Glassman."
