Lee Han-gyul (Korean: 이한결; born December 7, 1999), known mononymously as Hangyul, is a South Korean singer and actor. He has been a member of K-pop groups X1, BAE173, POLARIX, and IM, and was also a part of duo H&D. He made his debut as a soloist on October 14, 2026 by releasing his first mini-album, NOISE. He also starred as a main character in web series Love in Black Hole in 2021.
Lee was born on December 7, 1999 in Namdong District, Incheon. He was abandoned as a baby, and "had no idea what parents were" before the first grade. However, he has stated he believes his birth parents "must have had a reason" to abandon him and probably "had a hard time". When he was six, he met a volunteer at the children's home he was in, a social worker, and they grew close. He was moved to another children's home, but she found him, and when he was seven she adopted him.
During elementary and middle school, he trained in taekwondo for eight years, but after "hitting a slump" around his third year of middle school he joined a dance club. Through the club he began dancing and participated in a dance competition, which led to him being scouted by and subsequently signed to PocketDol Studio.

He debuted as a member of K-pop group IM, but the group did not achieve much success. He subsequently participated in The Unit: Idol Rebooting Project and Produce X 101, and was selected to become a part of X1, the band that was chosen through Produce X. However, the band was soon disbanded after the Mnet vote manipulation investigation. He has discussed the struggle of having to repeatedly debut.
He then debuted as a member of duo H&D with fellow singer Nam Dohyun, receiving his first solo pictorial in Star Magazine Korea at this time in May 2020, before the duo disbanded as the two both joined BAE173. During his time at BAE173, he participated in two major reality competition shows, Peak Time and Starlight Boys. After the latter, he was selected to join the created group, POLARIX, and continued as part of both groups at the same time.
He signed with Orca Music in 2026. He made his solo debut, which was his sixth debut, on October 14, 2026 with his mini-album Noise, featuring Latin pop song "BUNZI". The album also included four other songs. He pledged to bungee jump 52 times if his album took first place in the charts, choosing the number 52 because the song says the word Bungee 52 times. The JoongAng Ilbo noted "BUNZI"'s dance sections, asserting that his "performance of pouring out energy with his entire body makes viewers want to jump and play along."
He is also an actor, and held a starring role in a scifi-fantasy romance web series known as Love in Black Hole in 2021. His fans are largely in their thirties and forties, which he has mused is because of his "slightly mature charm".
He has a dog named Deokbae.
