Irving Ralph Newhouse (October 16, 1920 – March 29, 2001) was an American farmer and politician in the state of Washington. He served in the Washington House of Representatives from 1965 to 1980 and in the Senate from 1980 to 1999. He raised hops near Mabton and died in Sunnyside, Washington at the age of 80.

He was the father of U.S. representative Dan Newhouse. The building housing Washington State Senate offices is named for him.
