Kid Detectives is an Australian children's TV program shown on the Seven Network.[citation needed] It was produced by Beyond Productions Pty Ltd. It was run either as 26 episodes that ran 30 minutes, or as 52 episodes of 15 minutes. OKTV Singapore acquired the show to air.

The show uncovers forensic mysteries in a way that is educational and fun to children and began airing on 7 August 2009.[citation needed] The series is based on the book Crime Scene Detectives published by Dorling Kindersley.[citation needed]

Premise

Mimicking the Backyard Science series' format, Kid Detectives sought to encourage children to solve mysteries with forensic science. The program is hosted by Stephen Multari and Shae Brewster.
