Nadir Nibras (Bengali: নাদির নিবরাস) is a Bangladeshi travel filmmaker and content creator. He is best known for his youtube channel Nadir On The Go, through which he has over 11 million followers across social media platforms. His productions — created in English and Bangla — cover travel, history, culture, food, and stories of people from destinations around the world. He received the Channel i Digital Media Award for Best YouTube Content Creator (2021, 2022) and the Marvel of Tomorrow Influencers Award in the Travel category (2021), (Official) TikTok Bangladesh Creator Awards for Creator of the Year (2024), The Daily Star OTT & Digital Content Awards for Best Content Creator (2021, 2022, 2024)
Nadir was born in Dinajpur in northern Bangladesh. His father worked as a dental surgeon. The family eventually settled in Dhaka, where he completed his O and A Levels at an English-medium school. In 2011, he moved to the United States, earning a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at Oklahoma State University.[citation needed]
Nadir participated in international study abroad programs through Oklahoma State University, including a semester abroad in Iceland. Nadir also helped lead efforts to improve the university’s sexual violence prevention education policies and advocated for fair labor practices by encouraging the university to ensure that its licensed apparel was not sourced from sweatshops.
Nadir worked in a computational research laboratory focusing on data science. He was the first author of a peer-reviewed study published in Frontiers in Human Neuroscience, which examined motor recovery following stroke and contributed to research on rehabilitation outcomes.
Nadir began making travel videos in 2016. For the first four years, his YouTube channel had fewer than 100 subscribers.[citation needed]
During the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, Nadir focused on improving his filmmaking and his productions subsequently went viral, with one early video about visa-free countries available to Bangladeshi passport holders gaining widespread attention and rapidly expanding his audience.[citation needed]
The Nadir On The Go brand has grown into a multi-platform, bilingual operation. Nadir remains responsible for scripting, directing filming at destinations, and primarily editing videos, with a wider team supporting post-production work. News channels in Bangladesh, Albania, Romania, and beyond have featured him and in 2025 he did an extended video about his journey on the Malaysian show Studio Sembang with Amelia Henderson.[citation needed]
Nadir worked with American travel filmmaker Drew Binsky on a production about traffic conditions in Dhaka, Bangladesh. That production became "Surviving the World's Deadliest Traffic", the 12th episode of the Netflix travel serise Drew Binsky: Ultimate Travler, in which Nadir appeared alongside Binsky in 2026.
