nexos.ai is a Lithuanian artificial intelligence company based in Vilnius, Lithuania.
The company makes software that manages how organisations use commercial AI models, routing requests between providers and recording usage and costs.
nexos.ai was founded in late 2024 by Tomas Okmanas and Eimantas Sabaliauskas, who co-founded Lithuanian technology company Tesonet in 2008 and VPN service NordVPN in 2012.
The company launched publicly in January 2025 with an $8 million seed round led by Index Ventures, offering access to more than 200 AI models. In October 2025 it raised a €30 million (approximately $35 million) Series A co-led by Index Ventures and Evantic Capital, among the largest rounds raised by a Lithuanian startup that year.
nexos.ai's software acts as an intermediary between an organisation's employees and commercial AI providers. Requests pass through the company's systems rather than directly to providers, and can reach around 200 models.
According to the company, the software calculates the cost of each request, records what employees send to AI providers, and detects personally identifiable information (PII), which it can route back to the organisation's own systems.
The product consists of two components: a workspace interface for employees and a gateway for developers. The workspace provides access to models from providers including Anthropic, Google and OpenAI, and lets users compare the output of several models side by side. Administrators can set budgets, restrict which models are available to particular teams, and view dashboards of token usage and estimated costs.
