Rico 'Caspian' Ace, professionally known as Rico Ace, is an English rapper and record producer. He is known for his contributions in the UK Underground scene alongside his collaborators EsDeeKid and Fakemink on the singles "Phantom" and "LV Sandals". Both tracks were featured on EsDeeKid's debut album Rebel, which successfully charted at number 29 on the US Billboard 200.

Early life

He initially emerged from the Liverpool rap scene through the collective Stay Peckish with EsDeeKid before relocating to London.

Career

Ace began his music career in 2023 with the release of "Evisu Jeans".

In 2024, his collaborative single "Bally" with EsDeeKid was featured in Pitchfork's "The Ones" column, with critics noting it featured a quick-tempo beat reminiscent of classic grime.

In 2025, Ace achieved commercial success through the singles "Phantom" and "LV Sandals". Music outlets have highlighted how his work with Wraith9 fuses elements of jerk, rage, trap and cloud rap to create a "hypnotic, haunting blend". On 22 October, he collaborated with fellow rapper SINN6R on the single "Chilli", which was later included on the studio album #FEDERAL.

In April 2026, Ace released his debut album, Blackjack. The project featured guest appearances on three tracks from EsDeeKid, including the collaborative single "Dope Boyz", containing a sample from Soulja Boy's "I'm So Dope"; the project's vocal delivery and production have been highlighted as experimental by Complex.

Artistry

British magazine Dazed have noted Ace's musical style draws from multiple influences, including David Bowie, Skrillex, $uicideBoy$, Chief Keef and Skepta.
