AI text

AI images

Subject to common sense and with a number of exceptions, most images wholly generated by artificial intelligence should not be used in Wikipedia articles. Exceptions include articles where AI generation or a specific AI-generated image is the subject. AI-generated imagery should not be used to depict BLP subjects. AI upscaling might be an appropriate use of AI, depending on context.

Exceptions to above

AI used in an about self fashion, i.e. where the AI image or text is the subject of commentary, is generally exempt.
