Meeting minutes

The Altanta 2 meetup happened on November 19. The librarians, John and Jillian were very helpful in arranging the conference room for us. The library had printed flyers advertising the meetup. The meetup started at 3 pm. In total, 9 people attended the meetup. We had 3 newcomers join us to learn about editing Wikipedia. The meetup started with introductions. Ganesh presented a PowerPoint introducing Wikis, Wikipedia and basic editing. Few tutorial videos were played from the Outreach page. It was a delight when User:Aude visited the meetup and shared her experience and Wikimedia goodies. John gave us a tour of the library archives and the material. It was decided monthly meetups be scheduled and widely advertised to get more people to sign up. The meetup ended at 6:00 pm.
