The first (October 20) is the Global Resources Center, a major multi-lingual research collection in Washington, DC devoted exclusively to the study of global issues and international affairs.
The second (October 27) is the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Labor History Research Center. The Labor History Research Center has a rich set of secondary as well as primary resources on the history of organized labor in the United States.
These editathons will both comprise of a new editor training section in the morning and an editathon in the afternoon. If you already know how to edit and want to get straight to business, you can do that, too! If you would like to volunteer to help teach please email an organizer! Also, please don't forget to bring a photo id so you can get into the library!

Do I have to register to attend, or can I just arrive on the day?
Anyone who wants to attend can do so with or without rsvp, although rsvp is desirable so we know how many to get food for :)
Do I have to be a member of Wikimedia DC?
No, this event is open to everyone.
Can I bring my camera?
Yes, please do, you can take photos of the collections!
Do I have to own/bring a laptop?
You should bring your laptop as the library does not rent them out.
