Meetup (dinner)

Location
Union Station, Uno Chicago Grill
Time
Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 5:15 p.m. 5:30 P.M.
Arrangements
I spoke with Junique Morris, the Personal Touch Marketing Coordinator (In order to contact her you may call 202-842-0438 or email — put "Wikipedia Meetup" in the "Subject" field — at 701(at)unos(dot)com). If anyone has any food allergies/issues then please contact her right away. She said that for a group of over 20 that a buffet menu will have to be utilized. I chose the Pizza Buffet which, at $15.50 per person (the gratuity — which is 18% — and the tax is included in the listed price), was the cheapest lunch/dinner option available. The Pizza buffet includes:
  • Unlimited Soda Pop
  • House Salad
  • 3 Deep Dish Varieties
  1. Prima Pepperoni
  2. Garden Veggie
  3. Cheese & Tomato
  • Warm Fudge Brownie<br. />--NBahn (talk) 23:43, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

  2. Ragesoss - I'll probably drive from West Hartford, Connecticut, and so could possibly pick a few people up along the way in exchange for gas/toll money. Will probably spend the night in the DC area and head back in the morning.--ragesoss (talk) 18:54, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

People probably attending an LOC pre-dinner tour

We're meeting by the Fountain of Neptune in front of the Library of Congress at 2:30 P.M.

The pre-dinner meetup will start at 2:30 P.M. by the Neptune fountain at the base of the stairs at the 1st street entrance of the Library of Congress's Jefferson Building Public Entrance. We are getting a private tour by User: FeanorStar7, a LOC employee. (If you're interested in eating lunch at the LOC ahead of the tour, you'll find information here.)
