BBC friends

Jimbo and Angela have invited a ton of people from the BBC to be friends of Wikipedia and come out to meet us. They should sign up here if they are coming, or if this whole wiki editing thing is too crazy, just show up anyway. :-)

• see you there around 10 or so - gotta catch a friend out east before. Kath - WW2
• hoping to come along - Paul BBC WS New Media
• will be along about 7pm - Ian Forrester, BBC WS New Media

If they're coming as friends of Angela and Jimbo, that's fine. I just hope they're not going to be coming in a professional capacity. My hair is an absolute mess, I'm half-shaven and I'm wearing my son's anorak. <cringe> --Tony Sidaway|Talk 16:36, 3 Dec 2004 (UTC)

The email Jimbo sent called it a "Wikipedia party", so it's clear this is a social event, not anything "professional". I don't think you have any reason to worry. :) 132.185.240.120 16:41, 3 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Good because I've had a pretty busy day -the fridge iced up so we couldn't close the door - I had to defrost in a hurry so I could put the enzymes back in -then we had eye dissections and when I picked up the eyes I managed to spill opresol down myself - hopefully it wont stain but it's still damp at the moment. If anyone notices a strange chemically smell - it's me :-( Theresa Knott (The snott rake) 17:22, 3 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Who to look for

Here are some pictures of some of the people who will be coming. Theresa Knott (The snott rake) 22:21, 1 Dec 2004 (UTC)

I'd appreciate it if you'd remove the photo of David and I together and replace it with one of David by himself, thanks. Arkady Rose 17:50, 2 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Done. Sorry you won't be there -- sannse (talk) 18:49, 2 Dec 2004 (UTC)

After all my looking forward to the meeting I too must apologise for not being able to be at the meeting. We have only just moved house and various things having, to say the least, not gone to plan, I really haven't the time. Sorry, will do better next time. Dieter Simon 20:08, 2 Dec 2004 (UTC)
